TERRE DA VINO - ENOTECA WINE SHOP
Elegant and high-tech. We are talking about our ENOTECA - WINE SHOP, opened in 2001 to welcome visitors and turists coming to Barolo. Inside the building designed for offices there is a beautiful and modern space assigned to the Wine Shop. This becomes the last stage of the visits to let people come whenever they like as in the strategy "Open Cellars to Visitors the Whole Year".
In the heart of the classic area of production, in Barolo, among historical medieval castles, truffles and hasel nuts, turists can undertake a real journey about Piedmont wines along the overhead walkway in the cellars of Terre da Vino. Wine making from the ageing to the bottling phase, with a glance onto the rolling landscape of vineyards! Everyone can take part to wine tastings led by our technicians and enologists who present and discuss about the whole range of our wines, in the confortable space of the new and elegant Enoteca Wine Shop. Stages and seminars about the wine, expecially for the trade assigned to the sales can be organized on request. Guided tours for tourists and all visitors along the cellars and its various stages of wine making. In the Enoteca Wine Shop there is the wide range of our wines: from the single-variety white wines, such as Gavi, Arneis, Favorita, Erbaluce to the ones obtained from Sauvignon-Chardonnay blending; from the young reds as Barbera, Freisa, Dolcetto, Grignolino to the classic red wines aged in wood as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Barbaresco and Barolo. Don't forget the dessert wines as Moscato d’Asti and Moscato Passito (late harvest) and the sparkling wines, both sweet and dry, like Asti, Brachetto or Malvasia.
The Selection of Wines is supported by a wide range of local products: hazelnuts' cakes, syruped fruits, typical sauces, delicious chocolates, pickled vegetables and many other delikatessen of Langhe region. You can also find many gift ideas, several compositions which can be personalized for any occasion (Christmas, Easter, New Year's Eve, Halloween, Daddy's Day...), besides many magnum and wood cases with the important red wines entitled as Cesare Paves's or Beppe Fenoglio's works.
